EFT 1.0 support will not end with the release.
The full version of Escape from Tarkov 1.0 is expected to be released on November 15. The developers are gradually revealing further plans.
They recently participated in the Tokyo Game Show 2025 and released a special video: Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov outlined some points.
After the release of Escape from Tarkov, the developers intend to expand the game universe. First, the first add-on "Life of a Wild One" should be released, and events, a new location and more are also planned.
The studio is also engaged in pre-production of some other games related to EFT. There will also be a console version of Escape from Tarkov, but Buyanov has not yet specified specific release dates:
"For me, the release of Tarkov is part of a big plan. And I'm not very worried or worried, because I'm sure we have a great team: they will cope and do everything they need to. So I believe that our team, BSG, will do everything well. I'm a little worried, but not that much. And that's good. And again, this is all a pretty big and complex task, but I'm pretty sure everything will go well."
According to Nikita Buyanov, "all the haters" will be ****** (their mouths will be busy).
Fans from the "Tarkov Metamovement" community also cite Nikita's answer to the question about pets for the Shelter:
"We planned to add animals with the release version of the game, but it didn't work out. It will be about six months after the release. A cat in the Shelter is not as high a priority as the release of the game."
