Former head of the now-closed Ridgeline Games studio, Marcus Lehto, is dismayed that his colleagues, who "laid the foundation for the game", were not mentioned in the Battlefield 6 credits.
According to Lehto, the team worked on the game for 1 to 2.5 years, creating its foundation, but most of the dismissed employees were mentioned only in the "Special Thanks" section at the end of the credits, and some, including Lehto himself, were not listed at all.
I'm disappointed that many of my former colleagues from Ridgeline Games were not properly mentioned in the Battlefield 6 credits [...] Game development is a team effort, and every member deserves fair recognition.
Ridgeline Games, founded by Lehto, was responsible for developing the story campaign for Battlefield 6. The studio was closed in February 2024, less than two years after its creation, as part of a large-scale restructuring of EA, which resulted in the dismissal of about 670 employees. Then EA transferred Ridgeline's work to Criterion.
