According to Circana analysts, Borderlands 4 was the best-selling project in the US in September 2025. The research period covered the period from August 31 to October 4. The new installment in the Take-Two Interactive series confidently topped the ranking, ahead of all sports releases of the fall.
NBA 2K26 took second place, which, thanks to the results of the last two months, became the best-selling game of 2025. The top three was completed by EA Sports FC 26, while Ghost of Yotei from Sony and Madden NFL 26 took fourth and fifth positions. Of the top five, three belong to the sports genre, which emphasizes the continued popularity of this category.
Ten new products were included in the twenty most successful games of September — including Silent Hill f, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles and the Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 collection.
