Buyers of the premium version will be the first to start playing the game, which will be released on October 24, 2025. The remaining players will begin exploring space on October 29.
The Outer Worlds 2 is built on Unreal Engine 5, an engine known for its high hardware requirements. NVIDIA is already using the game in its materials, emphasizing support for ray tracing, DLSS 4, and Frame Generation technologies.
