In a recent interview at the Paley International Council Summit in Palo Alto, California, Xbox chief Phil Spencer spoke about the company's approach to the use of artificial intelligence. Spencer noted that Xbox does not set strict requirements for the use of AI.
The main focus in the use of AI in Xbox is on security and network protection. According to Spencer, the scale of the platform is so large that it is impossible to ensure user safety without AI. Technologies help to track dialogues, protect children's accounts, control access to communication and take into account parental control settings.
As for the creative side, Spencer stressed that the decision to use AI remains with the development teams.
