Originally, Soulcalibur III was released in 2005 on PlayStation 2 and is considered one of the most elaborate parts of the series. The game developed the concept of dynamic battles with weapons, offered a wide range of characters, a story mode, the strategic Chronicles of the Sword, and an advanced hero editor, which became the hallmark of the franchise.
