The strategy game Songs of Conquest, which many consider a spiritual successor to Heroes of Might and Magic 3, has marked a new success. The developers announced that the game has sold over 750,000 copies.
In honor of this event, Lavapotion studio and the publisher decided to arrange a record price reduction — by 75%. Until November 7, the game can be purchased on Steam for 275 rubles. According to the team, the goal of the promotion is to expand the project's audience, because about half a million users still keep it on their wishlists.
Along with this, the developers talked about the future of the game. With the update, Songs of Conquest received a major patch focused on cooperative mode. Among the new features is a function for observing battles, as well as transferring \"settlements, artifacts, and troops\" to allies.
The next stage will be Tales — additional mini-campaigns dedicated to specific rulers and events. The first one will be released for free, and the second will appear as paid DLC. A new faction, Yulan, will also be added to the game, with details promised to be revealed in January.
Lavapotion studio is already working on another game, \"to some extent related to Songs of Conquest, but belonging to a completely different genre.\"
