EA Sports FC 26 received an emergency update 1.1.1, which fixes a series of errors that appeared after the latest patch. The Football Ultimate Team mode was particularly affected, but the developers reacted quickly.
The main focus is on the stability of FUT — a critical crash that caused crashes and disconnections has been fixed. Now matchmaking and menu navigation are working correctly again, and online play is lag-free.
The update is described as a standard hotfix and focuses on bug fixes, not adding new content. EA has officially stated that the patch has fixed many key issues that were interfering with gameplay.
In the coming days, version 1.1.1 will also be released on previous generation consoles — PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The developers assure that work on stability will continue in order to return FC 26 to its normal state on all platforms.
