In 2024, Balatro became one of the most notable hits, so much so that many developers wanted to join in the success and start collaborating with the author. Crossovers are nothing new for it, but now the game has appeared in another popular project.
Balatro has become part of Vampire Survivors. The creators of the two hit games released in 2022 and 2024 have teamed up to add a new portion of content to the autobattler from poncle.
The announced crossover is included in the latest version 1.14 update, which is already available in the game. It includes:
- Ante Chamber — a free add-on inspired by Balatro;
- 4 new characters, 4 types of weapons, a new map and a remix of the main theme of Balatro;
- Survarots — a mechanic that allows you to change the characteristics and abilities of heroes;
- Network cooperative.
The developers have also expanded the Ode to Castlevania add-on, adding 16 new characters, 3 types of weapons with evolutions, and 12 new music tracks.
