Blobfish and Evil Empire continue to develop Brotato. The update is already available on PC and will soon arrive on consoles and mobile devices.
The developers of Brotato have released the first major content update called New Dawn.
The main innovation is the ban system, which allows you to exclude up to eight unwanted items from the store's assortment during a run. Weapons are not blocked.
Three separate save slots have also appeared — a solution for those who like to experiment with different strategies without losing progress. For example, you can unlock all characters and items in one playthrough where achievements will be disabled, and then get them in another.
The game now has a codex — an in-game encyclopedia that records found items, weapons, and enemies with their descriptions and characteristics.
In addition, New Dawn adds six new items, one weapon, an improved interface, and support for Mac and Linux in Steam.
After two weeks of beta testing, the update is already available on PC, and versions for consoles and mobile devices will appear within a month.
