The creators of "Stranger Things" have prepared a large-scale finale to the story, but promise that no hero will die for the sake of a "wow effect."
Recently, Netflix presented the final trailer for the fifth season of "Stranger Things", which will be the last for the show. The events unfold a year and a half after the finale of the fourth season — the heroes have to find and destroy Vecna, while government agents continue to hunt for Eleven.
The Duffer Brothers noted in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the stakes in the finale are "higher than ever" and promised that the new season will be the most brutal. At the same time, they emphasized that no death will occur for the sake of effect — each of them will be important for the plot. According to the creators, any shocking moments or losses will seem "deserved" to the audience.
In total, there will be eight episodes in the fifth season, and it will be divided into three parts. The first will appear on Netflix on November 26, the second on December 25, and the final episode will be released on December 31, 2025.
