A few months ago, Vertigo Games, Każe Shadow, and Eidos Montreal announced that a new Thief, specifically designed for VR headsets, would be released this year. The developers kept their promise.
The wait for fans of the cult series' return is almost over. It was recently confirmed that Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow will be released on December 4, 2025. The game is already available for pre-order with a 10% discount on PS VR2, Meta* Quest, and Steam VR.
To mark the occasion, new gameplay videos from the PlayStation VR2 and Meta* Quest versions have been published online, offering a glimpse into the world of the dark thief and an assessment of VR capabilities.
