Now you can experience the platform adventure on a sinking ship on mobile devices.
Developers from Toydium and Million Edge, with the support of Crunchyroll, have released the puzzle-platformer Gift on iOS and Android mobile devices — a game about constant movement and the changeability of the surrounding world.
The player controls an old man who wakes up in a cabin of a luxury cruise liner and suddenly realizes that the ship is sinking. The gameplay combines elements of a platformer and a puzzle: the ship is constantly tilting, the water level in the holds is changing, and familiar routes may suddenly become unavailable. To get out, you will have to take into account the physics of the environment, use the properties of the changing space, use the found objects and look for a safe path.
The original version of Gift was released on PC on May 8, 2024 and received mostly positive reviews (78% on Steam). The mobile edition retains all the features of the original, but offers controls adapted for touch screens.
The game is available to Crunchyroll subscribers, so users from Russia, as usual, will have to look for "workarounds."
