The fourth season of "The Witcher" series on Netflix has sparked mixed reviews — viewers readily point out flaws, but everyone agrees on one thing: the character of Leo Bonhart, played by Sharlto Copley, has become the brightest part of the season.
"This is the only thing that really worked. I hated this season, but the last episode was great because of this scene," writes a Reddit user. They are referring to the finale of the eighth episode, where Bonhart engages in an unequal battle with the "Rats." According to viewers, Copley perfectly conveyed the ruthless and slightly wild character of the white-haired hunter.
"I just finished season four, and damn, it's really the best they've done so far. Also, it's probably the closest to the books, and the last episode demonstrated that. Leo Bonhart overshadowed everyone — he's just amazing," shares a viewer on platform X.
Fans highly appreciated the choice of Copley two years ago, when casting details appeared. The actor fully coped with the role, and the makeup team added extra credibility to the character.
