Pepperbox Studios has unveiled a new trailer for Dice of Kalma — a roguelike with board game dice elements, inspired by the hit Balatro and the classic "Zonk." The trailer showcases gameplay footage and announces the release date: the game will be released on November 14, 2025, on PC (Steam), as well as in the Google Play and App Store mobile markets.
Dice of Kalma reimagines the mechanics of card roguelikes, replacing cards with six-sided dice. Players must roll dice and collect combinations to earn points. Instead of jokers, as in Balatro, skulls are used here — special items that change the rules of rolls, enhance combinations, and can completely change the course of the game.
On mobile devices, the project will be distributed under a freemium model. According to information in Google Play and the App Store, the basic version is available for free, and full access is unlocked after a one-time purchase of 299 rubles.
