Frostpunk 2 will soon receive its first major expansion. 11 bit Studios has announced the release date, and the wait is not long.
For over a year, fans have been waiting for a full expansion of the game, and the wait is coming to an end. The Polish studio has confirmed that the Frostpunk 2: Fractured Utopias expansion will be released on December 8, 2025.
The main innovation will be a new mode — Utopia. It will add a fresh location, eight development branches, unique hubs for each faction, and over a hundred story events.
The developers also gave some players the opportunity to try the content before release. Closed playtests will start this weekend, and you can sign up through the official website. Testing will last until November 3.
Frostpunk 2: Fractured Utopias will be an important step in the development of the game, promising to expand the decision-making system and social conflicts that the series is loved for.
