Copenhagen-based Those Eyes studio, known for the experimental project Cosmic Top Secret, has presented its new horror game — Real Vampires.
The project turns real historical evidence of vampirism into an interactive study of death, faith, and transformation. The developers consulted with cultural experts and were inspired by Dr. Łukasz Kozak's anthology With Stake and Spade: Vampiric Diversity in Poland.
Players will explore ancient legends, playing as both vampires and humans, to understand who the real monster is. In the process, they will dig graves, dismember bodies, cook strange dishes, and participate in absurd mini-games. The visual style of Real Vampires combines 2.5D animation, Slavic aesthetics, and grotesque in the spirit of Monty Python.
Real Vampires is available on Google Play, App Store, and Steam on PC.
