Experienced specialists are working on the racing project.
The authors of the race "Offroad Commanders" are preparing to present a trial version of the game in a few days. In the meantime, they decided to talk about who is behind the project.
- At Foxhound studio, Nikita Shpakov is responsible for game design - the person who "was at the origins of \"World of Tanks\" and even made a racing mode for them at one time."
- Producer Dima Zakharov - worked in a "mass of coolest companies", was one of the creators of "Truckers" and Silent Storm
- Andrey Selivanov is responsible for the technical part, who was involved in both "tanks" and other online projects.
- The artistic part is the domain of Artur Bildanov, the art director. He worked in a large outsourcer for the production of graphics.
- Andrey Cherekaev oversees the creative content; in the past, he had the opportunity to work for some time as an R&D director for the creators of "World of Tanks."
- Testing is the area of responsibility of Alena Karaseva, who for about 15 years headed the testing department and purposefully dealt with it.
It is noted that getting into Foxhound is not easy:
....the selection there is extremely strict, which is superimposed on the shortage of personnel, which is generally observed in our country. For example, it is very difficult to find specialists in technical art. As Dmitry says, this is a "rare rarity." Even rarer in nature is a full-stack programmer, for which position 120 people have already been interviewed. So far unsuccessfully. On average, out of 60-70 specialists who came for an interview, one gets a job. 400-500 people respond to each vacancy. Things are not easy, but there are also positive aspects: for example, recently there has been a trend for those who left for abroad three years ago to return to Russia.
The launch of the public demo version of "Offroad Commanders" is expected on November 7.
