Poppy Playtime is on the home stretch. Teaser for Chapter 5 released

Mob Entertainment has confirmed that the Poppy Playtime series will get a fifth story episode. One of the most popular free horror games of recent years continues to evolve.

The developers presented the first teaser, released on Halloween. The short video showed dark laboratories, narrow corridors filled with black slime, and a new monster — a huge spider. The Steam page states that Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 is scheduled for release in 2026. According to the studio, this is "the largest and most intense chapter in the entire history of the series."

Players will find a continuation of the Playtime Co. story and the final battle with the mysterious puppeteer behind all the creepy events. The creators promise updated mechanics, a redesigned GrabPack system, and more exploration zones — including new sections of the factory and underground laboratories.

Although the exact release date has not yet been announced, the teaser makes it clear that Poppy Playtime is coming to an end. Since the release of the first chapter in 2021, the series has gained a huge audience, combining horror, puzzles, and the atmosphere of childhood nightmares. The fifth chapter should put a final point in the history of Playtime Co.
