The Tales series has existed for several years mainly due to re-releases of old installments — there have been no new projects for more than four years.
But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Many jRPG fans still haven't been able to get acquainted with all the games in the franchise, as they were often released exclusively on one platform — whether it's PS1, PSP, PS2, GameCube, Wii, PS Vita, or PS3.
That's why Bandai Namco continues to bring back forgotten hits. After the remasters of Tales of Vesperia, Tales of Symphonia, and Tales of Graces f, it's now the turn of Tales of Xillia Remastered, which was released on Friday.
The game, originally only available on PlayStation 3, has long remained inaccessible to many. Now, the updated version gives you the chance to play both parts of the series for the first time.
Although reviews from the media have not yet been published, the first player reviews on Steam have been positive — 81% of reviews after 100+ opinions marked the remaster as successful.
