According to Reddit users, the developers have begun to return loot lost during encounters with violators. Moreover, it is not even necessary to file a complaint for this — compensation occurs automatically.
"Your items were lost due to unfair play, but we managed to return them! Now you can pick them up and take them with you on your next journey," the message from the developers says.
The studio noted:
"We strive to create an environment where gameplay is built on skill, teamwork and fun, not unfair advantage. Thank you for being with us! Together, we are making ARC Raiders a fair and exciting gameplay experience for everyone."
Although it is impossible to completely get rid of cheaters online, Embark's approach looks like a rare example of caring for the community.
