The first images of the canceled Contraband game from Avalanche studio have leaked online. Xbox officially closed the project last month, and now fans are seeing for the first time what it was supposed to be.
Contraband was announced in 2021, and three months after the confirmation of rumors about its closure, interface shots and some game elements appeared online.
The action was supposed to take place in the 1970s, and the plot was based on smuggling and street showdowns involving powerful muscle cars. The game involved choosing professions and developing characters, as evidenced by the menus found.
The published shots are screenshots of the interface, but they give an idea of the visual style and possible gameplay structure.
