According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin McKidd ("It Ends With Us"), Siobhan Cullen ("The Dry"), Chun Jong-seo ("Ballerina") and Nassim Lyes ("The Stranger") have joined the upcoming film "Highlander" directed by Chad Stahelski, where Henry Cavill plays Connor MacLeod.
Siobhan Cullen will play a police psychiatrist who learns about the existence of immortals and tries to help Cavill's character. Chun Jong-seo will embody a member of the Watchers order - an organization that monitors immortals, and Nassim Lyes will appear as one of the hunters for MacLeod. Kevin McKidd got some secret role so far.
Earlier it was reported that the main antagonist, Kurgan, will be played by Dave Bautista. Russell Crowe will play Ramirez - Connor's teacher and mentor, and Karen Gillan will get the image of MacLeod's mortal wife. Among other actors are Djimon Hounsou, Marisa Abela and Jeremy Irons, who will lead the Order of Watchers.
It is too early to talk about the release date of the film. Initially, Stahelski planned to present the picture in 2027 or 2028, but filming, scheduled for the fall, was postponed for at least six months due to a leg injury sustained by Henry Cavill while preparing for production.
