Studio MAPPA has unveiled a new music video from "Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc," featuring the heroine singing a song in Russian. The composition, Jane Slept in the Church, was written by the original manga author, Tatsuki Fujimoto, and performed by actress Reina Ueda.

In the story, Reze is from the Soviet Union, which is why the creators decided not to adapt the song into Japanese, keeping the original performance. In an interview, Reina Ueda admitted that she specifically learned the Russian pronunciation to convey the intonation of longing and fragile tenderness inherent in the character.

"Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc" will officially be released in Russian cinemas on December 4, with previews in select cinemas starting as early as November 23. On the Rotten Tomatoes aggregator, the film received 97% freshness from critics and 98% from viewers, becoming one of the highest-rated premieres of the year.
