The preload date and download size for the SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide platformer from THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp have been revealed.
Thanks to entries in the PlayStation database, users have learned that the game will take up a modest amount of space on the PS5 — 8.263 GB (version 01.100.001).
The preload date for PS5 is set for November 16, 2025. Everyone who pre-ordered the digital version will receive the game with the latest update already installed, but an additional patch may be released closer to the release date on November 18. Owners of physical copies will likely have to download the update separately.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is based on the Nickelodeon animated series and continues the 2023 storyline from SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake. Players will be able to switch between SpongeBob and Patrick, helping to resolve the conflict between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman. The game will be released on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
