The next release will be The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which is scheduled to premiere on April 3, 2026, followed by an adaptation of The Legend of Zelda, expected in 2027. The presentation also mentioned "other projects" in development, which confirms Nintendo's intention to develop its own cinematic universe.
Rumor has it that the studio is already working on a third Super Mario film based on the game Mario Odyssey, as well as an adaptation of Metroid. Although the company does not name specific projects, the report mentions "forming a structure for the regular release of films," which indirectly confirms the data from informants.
