Universal has released a new trailer for the movie "Five Nights at Freddy's 2". Director Emma Tammi returns viewers to the dark universe of Freddy Fazbear a year after the events of the original.
The main character, Abby (Piper Rubio), tries to reconnect with the animatronics, which worries her brother Mike (Josh Hutcherson). An attempt to understand the past of the abandoned pizzeria leads to unraveling old secrets and new nightmares.
The trailer features Skeet Ulrich, star of "Scream", for the first time, who plays Henry Emily, William Afton's former partner and co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment. In the original games, Henry remains behind the scenes, guiding players through audio recordings. His appearance on screen makes the second part an important expansion of the series' mythology.
Earlier, Matthew Lillard, who plays Springtrap, noted that the team took into account the feedback after the first part and added more dynamics and horror. The first film became the highest-grossing project of the Blumhouse studio, grossing $297.1 million, and now the studio hopes to surpass this result.
"Five Nights at Freddy's 2" will be released on December 5, 2025.
