The premiere of "Predator: Bad Blood" is just around the corner - the film is released on November 7, and the promo campaign is entering the final stretch. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Elle Fanning and her partner Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi revealed what was perhaps the most physically challenging experience during filming.
The fact is that Koloamatangi plays the Predator Deck, who travels across a dangerous planet accompanied by the synthetic Tii, who, at least in some parts of the film, has no legs. Therefore, for most of the film, the actor literally carried Fanning on his back - "like a backpack."
"We met literally the day before and a day later we were strapped to each other with belts and wires. Dimitrius was basically carrying me like a backpack. Sometimes I sat on a special structure like a wheelbarrow that he pulled up the slope."
Koloamatangi admits that he prepared for the role according to the "American Ninja" program, because he needed not only to be physically hardy, but also to maintain balance during stunt and chase scenes. Over time, the actors worked so well together that some episodes could be filmed without being tied to each other - Elle Fanning simply walked backwards, synchronizing her steps and breathing with Koloamatangi.
The film "Predator: Bad Blood" will be released on November 7 in cinemas.
