Bad Brain Game Studios, created by former Ubisoft employees, including those who worked on Watch Dogs: Legion, is closing on November 17. The studio was unable to find the necessary funding after NetEase ended its support.
The studio was working on a game called Midnight Riders. Bad Brain notes that the studio is open to "acquisition or partnership."
Despite all our efforts to find a new partner for the project, a way forward never materialized. We are sincerely grateful to NetEase Games for their support and for providing the time to explore all possible options.
