Polish studio Mechanistry has announced that the city-building game Timberborn is preparing to exit early access. The developers confirmed that the project has sold over a million copies and received an average rating of 95% on Steam.
Timberborn has been in early access for several years, and now the authors are completing the final preparations before the release of update 1.0. There are only a few weeks left until the release, and you can test the new version in the beta, available on Steam and Epic Games Store.
Update 1.0 will feature improved graphics (the video below shows a more beautiful skybox and glow effect), an improved modification system, quality changes, and many other new features.
This update will be the result of many years of work by the studio, and Timberborn will finally be fully released, retaining its main feature — hardworking beavers building cities after the demise of humanity.
