Developers are trying to combat the problem of RMT (with users who provide in-game services to others / sell items for real money).
One solution may be a special Solo Self Found game mode; it will appear in the future, but there is no exact release date yet.
New endgame content is being prepared - the ranked "Tower" mode. Although it may resemble the "great portals" of Diablo 3, it should still offer something new.
The authors of Diablo 4 are listening to feedback about the skill tree (players believe that they provide little choice) - changes are being prepared for the trees of all classes, but they will not appear in the near future.
