It seems that FNV fans will not get a sequel in the foreseeable future.
The Outer Worlds 2 was recently released. Players are wondering what Obsidian Entertainment will do next.
If the incoming information is correct, it will not be Fallout New Vegas 2, but the developers are allegedly continuing to develop the Avowed franchise.
Chris Avellone, one of the founders of Obsidian (no longer working there), recently stated on a social network:
Apparently, in addition to DLC for Outer Worlds 2, it seems that Obsidian is not making any plans for Outer Worlds 3 (but they are making Avowed 2).
