An anthology of early works by the author of "Chainsaw Man" is released today.

A video dedicated to the upcoming anime anthology "Tatsuki Fujimoto 17–26" has appeared on the official YouTube channel of the Japanese division of Prime Video. The video lasts exactly 17 minutes and 26 seconds — a direct reference to the name of the project, based on stories by the author of "Chainsaw Man", written by him between the ages of 17 and 26.

The anthology brings together eight independent short stories created by different studios and directors: from the post-apocalyptic drama A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin’ in the Schoolyard to the surreal romantic comedy Love is Blind, the mercenary story Shikaku, and the fantasy parable Mermaid Rhapsody.

Among the directors are Tetsuaki Watanabe ("Blue Lock"), Nobuyuki Takeuchi ("Fireworks"), Kazuaki Terasawa ("The Ancient Magus' Bride") and others. ZEXCS, Lapin Track, GRAPH77, 100studio, Studio Kafka and P.A.WORKS studios are responsible for the production of individual short stories.

"Tatsuki Fujimoto 17–26" will be released exclusively on Prime Video today, November 7.
