Intense PvE combat and an unusually friendly community make Arc Raiders a more accessible extraction shooter than most others, but Embark Studios' constant use of AI-powered voice generation tarnishes the company's reputation.
Due to the low score, the overall rating of ARC Raiders on aggregators Metacritic and OpenCritic fell from 94 points to 84 and 88 points, respectively.
While most commentators online agree that the use of AI deprives real actors of work, many criticize Eurogamer for such a significant reduction in the score.
