Warhammer: Necromunda Board Game Authors Showcase Set with Plastic "Hanger-on" Models

Fans of the Necromunda board game will have the opportunity to acquire a set with plastic miniatures featuring such "Hanger-ons" as the Ammo-jack, Slopper, Dome Runner, Rogue Doc, and Hive Watcher.

The team behind the Necromunda board game, set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, has unveiled a new set containing miniatures of five "Hanger-ons."

These are a handful of dubious individuals who ply their trade to earn coins and gain some protection from one gang or another.

From the old "Hanger-ons," the Ammo-jack, Slopper, Dome Runner, and Rogue Doc have acquired plastic models. A new character, the Hive Watcher, was also introduced.

The Hive Watcher is available to any gang. He knows every nook and cranny of Necromunda. Thanks to the "Eyes of the Hive" rule, this unit forces fighters using Infiltration or arriving with Reinforcements to be located within nine inches of the player's gang.

The Slopper is an expert in food production, increasing Recovery for allies. The Rogue Doc can patch up bullet wounds and worse, but don't expect miracles from him. Plus, they have two head options and a medi-skull - a rare piece of equipment that allows you to roll an extra die and discard the worst result when making a Recovery check.

The Dome Runner is a bit like the Hive Watcher, as he knows all the access points and secret tunnels of the Hive, but he prefers to use his skills for cool and risky deeds - for example, hacking into guarded vaults and carefully hidden gang warehouses.

Updated rules for the Rogue Doc with medi-skull and the Dome Runner, as well as new rules for the Hive Watcher, will appear in the upcoming book "Necromunda: The Aranthian Succession - Spire of Primus." Rules for the Slopper and Ammo-jack are in various "House of...", "Bastions of Law" and "Halls of the Ancients" gang books.
