The description of the Wake of the Water update for Enshrouded takes up a whole 16 pages, and the full list of changes can be found on Steam.
Developers from Keen Games have added dynamic water to the game: rivers, lakes, and waterfalls can now not only be admired, but also swam in, dived into, and used in base building. Players can create their own canals and water structures, and sometimes accidentally flood rooms.
The update includes a new biome - the Veilwater Basin. This is a tropical region with beautiful beaches, forgotten temples, underwater ruins, and many secrets. A new enemy, the Draki, lives there.
New weapons have also appeared - great swords with unique skills and armor sets, and the fishing system allows you to obtain rare items. The equipment balance has been reworked, the maximum character level has been raised to 45, and loot, regeneration, and weapon characteristics have been improved.
Players can build with water, grow aquatic plants, and decorate bases with text plaques. The behavior of NPCs and animals has been improved, new sound effects have been added, and lighting and reflections in the water have made the world of Embervale even more beautiful.
The game is on sale with a 20% discount until November 24th.
