Kojima Productions, in collaboration with exoskeleton manufacturer Dnsys, has announced a limited edition Dnsys Z1 Exoskeleton Pro – DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH Limited Edition. This is not just merch, but a fully functional device that can be purchased and worn as early as December 2025.
The functions of the exoskeleton replicate the in-game counterparts:
- 50% increase in step power for better mobility on difficult terrain
- Increase in hiking range by 15.5 miles (approximately 25 km) and vertical ascent by 9.3 miles (approximately 15 km)
- Relief of knee load up to 200% of the user's body weight — you will feel 20 kg (44 lbs) lighter when climbing
- AI-controlled gait on rough terrain, stairs, and slopes
- Autonomy of more than 4 hours with quick-swap batteries
- Weight per leg: only 680 g, materials — aluminum and titanium alloys, carbon fiber. Motor power — 900 W
Sales start on December 2nd on the Dnsys website. The price has not yet been announced, but the standard Z1 Dual Joint Pro model costs around $2,298.
