The ceremony's creator and host, Geoff Keighley, confirmed on Tuesday that the new edition of the show will be broadcast on Prime Video, while YouTube and Twitch will remain as previous channels. Since 2014, The Game Awards has built its audience there, and the team has no intention of abandoning these platforms.

He emphasized that the partnership with Amazon is a "step forward," but it will not change the format or spirit of the event. Prime Video will only be an additional way to reach players around the world.
For the first time, the Twitch broadcast will be available in 2K resolution, and viewers will be able to receive Twitch Drops, digital rewards for watching live.
The Game Awards 2025 will take place on December 11, 2025.
