People simply go into the console settings (Xbox, PlayStation) or PC (Xbox app), change the region to New Zealand, enter a New Zealand address in their Activision account, and restart the device. After that, they can return to their settings when the game is released globally.
Activision ignores such tricks, as they do not violate the user agreement, so you should not worry about a potential account ban.
The trick works on consoles and PCs in the Xbox app, but it won't work on Steam and Battle.net, as the release is synchronized there.
