Chinese studio Infold Games, known for Infinity Nikki and Love and Deepspace, believes that Nintendo consoles are of great interest, and their audience will surely appreciate the company's games.
"Nintendo platforms are definitely interesting and strategically attractive," said the developers of Infinity Nikki in an interview, discussing the demand for non-violent AAA games.
"The hardware capabilities and audience lean towards family and casual players, which goes well with cozy games and exploration projects. We are considering different approaches on multiple platforms and believe that versions adapted for Nintendo could perform well. But native optimization and interface redesign need to be taken into account."
Infinity Nikki and Love and Deepspace are free, non-violent games focused on a cozy experience, exploration, and interaction between characters. These concepts go well with the platform, where one of the most popular releases remains Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The developers are confident that careful adaptation of the game for Switch 2 will allow it to become successful among Nintendo fans.
