Paramount has unveiled the first trailer for \"SpongeBob: In Search of the Square Pants,\" the fourth feature film about the famous resident of Bikini Bottom and the sixth film in the expanded SpongeBob cinematic universe. The trailer promises viewers the signature blend of humor, vibrant animation, and lighthearted madness that has long been the hallmark of the franchise.
The plot follows SpongeBob as he sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs, embarking on a journey with the Flying Dutchman. He faces a marine adventure that leads the hero to the most unexplored depths of the ocean.
The film will premiere worldwide on December 19, 2025. Later, the film will be available on the Paramount+ streaming service, but the digital release date has not yet been announced.
