It will not be possible to finalize the game this year.
The life simulator Paralives was supposed to be released in December 2025. However, the authors of The Sims 4 competitor announced a postponement in mid-November.
The developers explained that they need additional time to refine Paralives:
Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone the release. We sincerely regret doing this at the last minute. After careful consideration, we decided that this would be better for the game and the community. This year, we conducted many game tests with friends and fans and were confident that we could improve the game enough by December. Ahead of the early access release, we expanded our game tests to include a more diverse player base, and the latest feedback made us realize that the game does not meet the standards we wanted it to meet by release.
After testing, they concluded that some Paralives systems need to be improved: players praised the Paramaker character editor and construction, but "there are still serious bugs in life mode, and there is little entertainment in the city, which undermines players' enjoyment."
If nothing changes again, Paralives will be released on May 25, 2026 in early access format.
