The escape turned out to be far from the main challenge in EFT.
On November 15, the full version of Escape from Tarkov 1.0 was released. The extraction shooter added the ability to escape from Tarkov. It was supposed to be a challenge that few could handle, but so far, logging into the game has become a more serious challenge.
The first players encountered the fact that sometimes they cannot even enter Escape from Tarkov: the problem affected both players through the Battlestate Games launcher and Steam.
The system may not allow access to the servers; the file integrity check may not work, or the launcher simply stops seeing the installed game on the PC.
All this is reflected in the EFT reviews on Steam — the game is being actively criticized, and Escape from Tarkov also topped the DownDetector service (including in Russia), where users can complain about the operation of websites and applications.
An EFT team representative addressed the players on Steam — promised compensation:
The situation with the increased load on the #EscapefromTarkov data centers has generally stabilized, but we are continuing to fix problems with the performance of the official website and authorization centers. A number of users may still encounter various errors in the launcher and the game. We thank all the players who shared this difficult day with us, and we will soon credit all players with in-game compensation.
