Soon the world of American Truck Simulator will be expanded with another state.
The creators of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator continue to show off the content in the works. They have released a diary dedicated to the creation of the Louisiana DLC.
This time, SCS Software offers to explore the local drawbridges, as well as ferries:
Louisiana's landscape is defined by its close relationship with water. From winding bayous to wide rivers and coastal bays, the state's transportation network relies heavily on all sorts of crossings. Our team has strived to capture this distinctive side of road life, providing players with a more realistic driving experience that reflects the natural and industrial character of Louisiana.
The Louisiana DLC for American Truck Simulator will feature several ferry crossings, including Cameron-Holly Beach, Cote Blanche and Port Fourchon, where the ferry is the only connection to the offshore oil storage facilities
Louisiana also features many locks and drawbridges, and while completing orders, you can see them letting boats through:
These features add dynamism to your journey, creating moments when you may want to stop, observe and enjoy the world around you before continuing your delivery.

As usual, the presented shots are from the "work in progress" series, i.e. do not reflect the final quality of the content.
