It became known that the release of the mobile version of Where Winds Meet, a role-playing action game with wuxia elements, is scheduled for December 12. The German portal Mein-MMO was the first to report this, and then the information was confirmed by users who contacted the game's technical support with a question about the release date.
Where Winds Meet takes players to China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. The player controls a young swordsman who embarks on a journey through the country to uncover the secret of his origin.
The developers promise more than a thousand unique points of interest, over twenty regions, historical activities, martial arts, a weapon system, guilds, multiplayer dungeons, and a full-fledged story campaign lasting more than 150 hours. However, as is often the case in service games, only part of the content is presented at release. The rest will be added in future updates.
Where Winds Meet has already attracted a large audience on PC and PlayStation 5. In the first 24 hours, the number of players exceeded two million, the peak online on Steam reached 193 thousand people, and the rating remains at 77% positive reviews. The project entered the top ten most popular games on the platform and took seventh place among the bestsellers.
