The creators of "Stranger Things," Matt and Ross Duffer, are confident that the final season of the series will be the best in the project's history. In an interview with GamesRadar+, they said that over the years of working on the show, they have learned the most lessons and are ready to apply the accumulated experience to worthily complete the story of Hawkins and a company of teenagers confronting the darkness from the Upside Down.

«We are constantly learning — what worked and what didn't — and we try to apply these lessons in the next season. I hope we have already learned everything we can, and the fifth season will be perfect, and the fans will not find anything to complain about. Although the probability of this, I think, is 0.5%»

The writers admit that they have realized their past mistakes and are now ready to put the final point without any reservations. According to the Duffer brothers, it is important for them to tie up all the storylines and not leave any unresolved arcs, since the story ends in the fifth season. This is fundamental for them, because no spin-offs or projects continuing the chronology after the finale are planned.

However, fans who do not want to say goodbye to their favorite characters should remember the already announced animated series "Stranger Things: Tales from 1985". Its action will unfold between the third and fourth seasons of the original show.

The fifth season of "Stranger Things" will be divided into three parts: the first will be released on Netflix on November 26, the second on December 25, and the finale will take place on December 31, 2025.
