In Russia, James Cameron's Avatar sequel will arrive on December 25.
Disney and 20th Century Studios have launched a large-scale promotional campaign for the release of "Avatar: Fire and Ash," the third installment in James Cameron's epic. To mark the start of ticket pre-sales, the studio has presented a new official trailer and the first full clip from the film.
The plot of the third film unfolds immediately after the events of "The Way of Water." Jake and Neytiri are grieving the death of their son Neteyam and encounter a new Na'vi tribe — the Ash People, led by Varang, played by Oona Chaplin.
In the clip the Ash tribe hunts the children of the Sully family, and one of them utters the family motto: "Sully's never surrender." The video is an extended version of a scene from the new trailer and emphasizes that the conflict in the third film will not only concern the confrontation with humans, but also clashes between different Na'vi tribes.
It was previously announced that "Avatar: Fire and Ash" will be the longest film in the franchise: the runtime will be 3 hours and 15 minutes. The world premiere will take place on December 19, and the Russian release will start almost a week later — on December 25.
