Everyone was waiting for a new Half-Life, but a remaster of the action game about Lara Croft was released.
On November 18, without any prior announcement, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was released simultaneously on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
The edition includes:
- The main game with completely redesigned graphics
- All previously released additional content (6 costumes for Lara, 8 maps for multiplayer and 4 characters)
- Digital version of the Dark Horse Tomb Raider: The Beginning comic
- Mini-artbook Tomb Raider: The Art of Survival
- "Final Hours of Tomb Raider" video series about the development of the game
The game costs $19.99, but there is a 10% discount for everyone until November 24 (price $17.99). Owners of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered get an additional 10%, and owners of Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered get another 10%. Discounts are cumulative, so the maximum savings can reach 30%.
