Recently, a list of nominees for The Game Awards 2025, including "Game of the Year," appeared online. The creator of Baldur's Gate 3 reviewed it and decided to share his opinion.
Swen Vincke was pleased. He believes that each developer on this list represents their own approach to game creation:
This proves that our industry still values games that are made with soul and are entertaining, regardless of budget and who makes them.
The creator noted that he has only played four of the six games in the "Game of the Year" category so far, but is confident that the remaining two deserved to be there.
