On November 24, a free update with the "New Game+" mode will be released for Ghost of Yotei. It will only be available after the first playthrough of the story campaign. Along with it, the game will add:
- Higher difficulty level
- Two new trophies
- New currency - Ghost Flowers, which can be exchanged with a special merchant for 30 new cosmetic items (new armor sets, weapon dyes, talismans, etc.)
- Ability to improve existing cosmetic items
- New accessibility options
- Function to replay already completed story missions
It was previously reported that in the first month since its release, Ghost of Yotei sold over 3.3 million copies worldwide, becoming one of the most successful games of 2025.
